How to transfer my SIM to a Koodo eSIM

If you’re transferring your SIM to a Koodo eSIM, the process depends on whether you’re a new Koodo customer or an existing one.

Existing customers

If you’re a Koodo customer with an eSIM-compatible device, you can transfer your phone number from a physical SIM to an eSIM either by purchasing an eSIM voucher online through your Koodo account or by visiting a Koodo store.

Once you have your eSIM voucher, follow these steps:

For iPhone:

• Go to Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM.
• Choose Use QR Code and scan the eSIM voucher provided by Koodo.
• Follow the on-screen setup instructions to complete activation.
• After installation, restart your iPhone and make sure the Koodo network appears under Cellular Plans.

For Android (steps may vary by brand):

• Open Settings > Connections > SIM Manager (or Network & Internet > Mobile Network).
• Select Add Mobile Plan or Download a SIM instead.
• Scan the QR code on your Koodo eSIM voucher.
• Follow the prompts to download and activate your eSIM profile.
• Restart your phone and confirm your Koodo line is active.
