Yes, Rogers supports eSIM on all of its phone plans, but you’ll need an eSIM-compatible device. When purchasing a new plan or upgrading your current one, you can choose eSIM instead of a physical SIM card.

How to get a Rogers eSIM

How you get a Rogers eSIM depends on whether you’re a new or existing Rogers customer.

New Rogers users

If you’re bringing your own phone, sign up for a Rogers plan online or in a Rogers store and choose eSIM during checkout. Just make sure your phone supports eSIM.

If you’re buying an eSIM-compatible phone directly from Rogers, your Rogers eSIM is already set up. Simply turn on the device and follow the setup steps to connect.

Current Rogers users

If you already have a Rogers plan, you can switch to eSIM yourself in the MyRogers app or on rogers.com, as long as your device supports eSIM. Select Change SIM, enter the verification code Rogers texts you, choose eSIM, and scan the QR code that appears.

If you have an eSIM voucher, you can enter its 20-digit number in MyRogers instead. If your SIM is lost or damaged and you can’t receive a text, visit a Rogers store.

If you don’t have an eSIM-compatible device, you can visit a Rogers store to upgrade your device and get a copy of your eSIM voucher.

How to install a Rogers eSIM according to the type of device

Follow the steps below to activate your Rogers eSIM on different devices. These steps apply to new eSIM setup and Rogers eSIM transfer.

Rogers eSIM setup on iPhone:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Tap Cellular.
  3. Select Add eSIM.
  4. Scan the Rogers eSIM QR code on your voucher.
  5. If needed, enter the voucher number manually.

Rogers eSIM setup on Samsung:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap Connections.
  3. Select SIM card manager.
  4. Tap Add eSIM.
  5. Scan the Rogers eSIM QR code on your voucher.
  6. If needed, enter the voucher number manually.

Rogers Google Pixel eSIM setup:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Select Network & Internet.
  3. Tap SIMs.
  4. Choose Download a SIM instead.
  5. Tap Next and follow the on-screen prompts.
  6. Scan the Rogers eSIM QR code on your voucher.
  7. If needed, enter the voucher number manually.
  8. Select Activate.
