Postpaid plans require a credit check, so you’ll need a valid government-issued ID and a major Canadian credit card. If you don’t have these, you can choose a prepaid plan instead.

To install your Freedom Mobile eSIM, you’d need your QR code. This is available on the confirmation page when you activate or in My Account. Then, depending on your device, follow the steps below.

Set up eSIM on iPhone

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Cellular > Add eSIM > Use QR Code.
3. Scan the QR code.
4. Tap Add Cellular Plan and choose Continue.
5. Select the preferred line and choose Continue.
6. Wait for the confirmation message.

Set up eSIM on Samsung

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Connections > SIM Manager > Add eSIM.
3. Choose Scan QR code.
4. Scan the QR code.
5. Wait for the confirmation message.

Set up eSIM on Google Pixel

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Network & Internet > SIMs > + Add SIM.
3. Choose Set up an eSIM.
4. Select Freedom as your network from the available options.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap Cellular > Add eSIM.

4. Make sure Bluetooth is turned on for your old iPhone.
