How to install according to the type of device
Activating your chatr eSIM is simple, but the steps vary depending on your device. Follow the instructions below to set up your eSIM.
Chatr eSIM activation on iPhone:
- Go to Settings > Cellular > Add eSIM.
- Tap Use QR Code to open the camera.
- Scan the chatr eSIM QR code.
- Your eSIM will download and activate automatically.

- Go to Settings > Connections > SIM manager > Add eSIM.
- Tap Scan QR Code to open the camera.

How to convert a chatr SIM to eSIM

The usual steps for transferring your SIM to an eSIM with the same carrier are as follows:
- Contact customer support or visit a store.
- Request a SIM-to-eSIM transfer.
- Receive your chatr eSIM QR code or activation details.
- Scan the QR code or follow the activation instructions on your device.
- Confirm your eSIM is active and your old SIM is deactivated.
