How to buy a SMARTY eSIM for existing customers

If you’re already with SMARTY, simply log into your SMARTY dashboard and request a SIM swap to an eSIM. Head to the menu, go to Account settings > Manage plan > Replace my SIM option.

Follow the steps until you reach the end. You’ll be asked whether you want to:

Activate now: Your current SIM will be disconnected instantly, and your new eSIM will be sent to your registered email address.
Activate later: Your current SMARTY SIM will be disconnected, and your account will be suspended. You will also be sent an email with a link to reactivate your account. Once you do this, your eSIM details will be emailed to you. You will still be charged during this time.

How to buy a SMARTY eSIM for new customers

New customers will need to order a physical SIM card first. Once it arrives, you can request a switch to an eSIM through your account following the process above.

How to activate a SMARTY eSIM

You’ll receive an email once you’ve requested your SMARTY eSIM for the UK. It should contain:

A QR code
An activation code
A SM-DP+ address
A one-tap button for iPhone users

Tap “Install eSIM on your iPhone”.
Or press and hold the QR code until a menu appears, and then tap “Install eSIM”.

SMARTY offer plans in two categories: Rolling Monthly and Data Only Plans. You can order a physical SIM card with any of these plans and switch to an eSIM.
