Canceling the Saily Ultra plan: What you need
If you want to cancel your Saily Ultra plan subscription after an accidental purchase, a change in travel plans, or if your eSIM is not working, the good news is that Saily offers flexible cancellation and even refunds, in some cases.
Before canceling your subscription, you must ensure you meet all the requirements. If something is missing, Saily might deny your request, so it is crucial to check everything carefully.
- Have an active account and subscription: You must log in to your Saily account from the app or website, within the user panel.
- Identify the Ultra plan: If you have several active eSIMs, ensure you specifically select Saily Ultra to cancel it and not any other plans.
- Billing cycle: You need to cancel your Saily Ultra plan at least 48 hours before the next billing cycle. If you miss that window, you could be charged for another month even if you do not plan to use it.
- No pending invoices: To cancel this service successfully, you need to be up to date with any unpaid charges. If you have any outstanding payments, make sure to clear them first.
- Have the official Saily app installed. Some cancellations can only be done through the mobile app. You also have the option to contact customer support, but you can handle it yourself directly in the app.
Saily also offers refunds in two cases: for data plans that were never activated, or for plans that were activated but barely used. In either case, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Unused data: Request a refund within 30 days of purchase. You must not have installed or used the data.
- Data with little use: You can request a partial refund if you have used less than 1% of your data or if you encountered any issues with the plan’s functioning (Saily eSIM not working). Check out our guide on Saily refunds to learn more about their refund policy.
How to cancel your Saily Ultra subscription: 6 Simple steps
After meeting the requirements above, follow these steps to cancel your eSIM subscription successfully. If you follow them correctly, the process should be straightforward!
1. Log in to your Saily account
Start by opening your Saily account on your smartphone using the official iOS or Android app. You can also access it through the website. Either way, you must log in with the email and password you used to create your account.
2. Go to the section for your active plans
After logging in, go to the section that lists your active plans and open your Saily Ultra plan.
3. Cancel your subscription
Once you are in your monthly subscription, you will see an option to cancel. Click on it to start the cancellation process.
4. Confirm the cancellation
Before completing the cancellation, the platform will ask you for a reason, which is optional. Providing this feedback helps them improve the user experience, so we recommend doing it. After that, simply confirm to complete the process.
5. Receive confirmation by email
As soon as you cancel your Saily Ultra plan, you will receive an email confirming that your subscription has been successfully canceled and that no further charges will be made. Keep in mind that you need to request the cancellation at least 48 hours before the end of your billing cycle.
6. Uninstall the eSIM (optional)
This final step is optional, but removing the eSIM from your smartphone can free up space and make it easier to add other eSIMs later. To do this, go to Settings, then Connections, and open the SIM Manager. Select the eSIM you want to deactivate, which might be listed as Truphone, 1Global, or Saily eSIM.
