Looking at the overview alone, the two plans seem similar. Let’s jump into the details to help you see where they differ and which one might suit you best.

Pricing

There is one Saily Ultra plan, and three Holafly Plans options to choose from.

The Saily Ultra plan is priced at $59.99/month. It’s a data-only plan that gets you unlimited data at 1 Mbps speeds, 30 GB of high-speed data, and multiple online privacy tools.

The Holafly Plans choices range from 25 GB/month to unlimited data. Prices start at $49.90/month, while the unlimited data plan is priced at $64.90/month.

Note: The Holafly Plans All In plan isn’t available as of the writing of this article. However, you can join the waitlist already and enjoy all its perks as soon as the plan goes live.

Coverage

Both Holafly Plans and Saily Ultra have one coverage option each. Holafly Plans offers coverage in 170+ destinations, while Saily Ultra covers 113. This means neither has complete global coverage, but Holafly will keep you connected in more parts of the world.

No matter which plan you go with, take some time to double-check the list of covered countries to ensure that you’ll have data in the countries you plan to visit.

Additional features

Both Holafly and Saily offer more than just unlimited data plans with their eSIM subscriptions.

Holafly includes a European phone number with Light and Unlimited plans or a local number with the All In plan. The All In plan also includes mobile data on trains and plans. That said, the All In plan isn’t yet available as of the writing of this article, though you can join the waitlist and get the plan as soon as it launches.

With Saily Ultra being a Nord Security product, it’s no surprise that the plan includes quite a few Nord Security products as additional features. Every plan comes with NordVPN, NordPass, NordLocker, and Icogni. On top of that, fast-track boarding and airport lounge access are promised for the near future.

Customer support

Both Saily and Holafly have 24/7 customer support across multiple channels. So if your Holafly or Saily eSIM isn’t working, or if you simply have eSIM-related questions, you will be able to get help quickly.

Saily offers priority customer support to all Ultra plan subscribers, which means even faster response times. Holafly only offers priority support with the All In plan. That said, it should be a non-issue, as both providers are known for quality customer service, even without priority support.

It’s worth noting that Saily’s live chat support is only available through the Saily app, while you can contact Holafly customer support both through the website and the app.

Refunds and cancellations

Neither Holafly Plans nor Saily Ultra require long-term contracts or commitments, meaning you can cancel your subscription at any time. Upon canceling your plan, all perks remain active until the end of the period that has been paid off.

When it comes to refunds, Holafly’s refund policy and Saily’s refund policy are also fairly similar. Both offer full refunds for accidental purchases, unactivated plans, or if you buy a plan without an eSIM-compatible phone. Partial refunds are available if you run into issues with your eSIM after you start using it.

The main difference is that Saily allows you to make a refund claim for up to 30 days after purchase, while Holafly offers refunds for up to 6 months after purchase.

Holafly Plans vs. Saily Ultra: Which one’s best?

Both Holafly Plans and Saily Ultra have created a way to stay connected worldwide with a single eSIM. With unlimited data plans, you won’t have to worry about Holafly or Saily top-ups or buying a new eSIM for every destination you visit.

Holafly offers coverage in more countries and a phone number for calls and texts. So if you need to make local calls during your stay, Holafly Plans is your go to.

Meanwhile, Saily Ultra offers a whole bunch of additional security features. So if you’re already paying for a VPN, password manager, or cloud storage, you can stop all of these subscriptions and get a great deal with them included as features with the eSIM plan.

Stay connected wherever you go with Holafly Plans

Whether you’re a frequent traveler, a digital nomad, or simply someone looking to get data abroad for an extended period of time, Holafly Plans has got you covered.

Enjoy up to unlimited data, up to unlimited hotspot sharing, 24/7 customer support, and a local phone number. Use the plan to stay connected as long as you need, and cancel any time. No long-term commitments or cancellation fees included.
