Ultra Mobile focuses on prepaid plans, available for purchase for 1 to 12 months.
These plans are billed upfront, with the 6-month plans including a 25% discount and the 12-month plans including a 50% discount.

- 4GB Plan: For $19/month, you get 4 GB of mobile data, unlimited texts, calls, and unlimited texts and calls in Canada and Mexico.
- 8GB Plan: For $24/month, you get 8 GB of mobile data, unlimited texts, calls, and unlimited texts and calls in Canada and Mexico.
- 12GB Plan: For $29/month, you get 12 GB of mobile data, unlimited texts, calls, and unlimited texts and calls in Canada and Mexico.
- 24GB Plan: For $39/month, you get 8 GB of mobile data, unlimited texts, calls, 5 GB of data roaming in Canada and Mexico with unlimited texts and calls, and bonus international calls to selected destinations.
- Ultra Unlimited Plan: For $49/month, you get unlimited data, texts, and calls with up to 10 GB of mobile hotspot data. 5 GB of data roaming in Mexico and Canada with unlimited texts and calls, and international calls to selected destinations are also included.
- Ultra Unlimited+ Plan: For $59/month, you get unlimited data, texts, and calls with up to 25 GB of mobile hotspot data. 5 GB of data roaming in Mexico and Canada with unlimited texts and calls, and international calls to selected destinations are also included.
Pricing for these plans doesn’t include taxes, which are added at checkout and vary by USA state, and a “Recovery Fee” is also included.
Ultra Mobile eSIM-compatible phones
Ultra Mobile eSIM plans are available for most eSIM phones. However, when getting one of their plans, only Apple, Samsung, and Google are listed as eSIM-compatible.
That said, Ultra Mobile has a “Bring your own phone” site, but not all 2026-eSIM devices are listed there, meaning you’ll have to run an IMEI number to check compatibility.
How to get an Ultra Mobile eSIM
To get an Ultra Mobile eSIM, you can order it online or visit any authorized third-party seller in the USA.
If you want to buy it in-store, you can use the “Store Locator” feature on the Ultra Mobile site.
How to activate
Activating an Ultra Mobile eSIM is easy, and you have two options to do it.
If you buy your eSIM plan in-store, you can request help to activate your eSIM from a customer support person.
If you decide to buy your eSIM online, here’s the step-by-step process you should follow after receiving the QR code in your email.
- eSIM activation on iPhone: Open “Settings,” then tap“Cellular.” Tap “Add eSIM” to scan the QR code.
- eSIM activation on Samsung: Open “Settings,” go to “Connections,” and tap on “SIM Manager.” Tap “Add eSIM” to scan the QR code.
How to transfer
If you need to transfer your Ultra Mobile eSIM plan to a different device, here’s how to do it on Android and iPhone:
- Transferring eSIM on Android:
- Turn on both devices.
- Go to “Settings” using your new phone.
- Tap “Network & Internet.”
- Choose “SIM Manager.”
- Choose the “Transfer SIM from another phone” option.
- Scan the QR code on your new phone using your old device.
- Keep both devices close and wait for the message “Transfer to the new phone” to pop up.
- Wait a few seconds for the activation to be completed.
- Transferring eSIM on iPhone:
- Turn on both devices.
- Open “Settings” on your new iPhone.
- Tap “Cellular,” then go to“Set up cellular.”
- Choose the phone number to transfer and tap “Continue.”
- Tap “Transfer Number” on the pop-up message.
- Using your old iPhone, tap the “Confirm transfer” button.
- Wait for the transfer to be completed.
