You have two options to activate your Mint eSIM.

If you decide to use Mint’s app to activate your eSIM, there are minor changes when activating on iOS and Android. Here’s the step-by-step for each.
- eSIM activation on Samsung: Go to “Settings,” then “Connections,” and tap on “SIM Manager.” Tap “Add eSIM” and scan the QR code sent to your email.
- eSIM activation on iPhone: Go to “Settings,” then “Cellular.” Tap “Add eSIM” and scan the QR code sent to your email.

The activation process in other Android devices, such as Xiaomi, OPPO, Motorola, Huawei, and others, is slightly different, but will largely follow the same steps as above.
How to transfer
You can transfer a Mint eSIM to both Android and iOS devices. Both processes are different from each other. Here’s what you need to do on each:
- Transferring eSIM on Android:
- Turn on both devices.
- Go to “Settings” on your new phone.

- Choose the “Transfer SIM from another phone” option.
- Scan the QR code on your new phone using your old device.
- Keep both devices close and tap the “Transfer to the new phone.”
- Wait for the activation to be completed to start using your Mint eSIM.
- Transferring eSIM on iPhone:
- Turn on both devices.
- Open “Settings” on your new iPhone.
- Tap “Cellular,” then “Set up cellular.”
- Choose the phone number to transfer and tap “Continue.”
