How to activate metro by T-Mobile international roaming
metro international plans for Mexico and Canada are available on $40 or higher rate plans, while international calling plans are available on $30 or higher rate plans.
Here’s how to activate them:
- Visit any Metro by T-Mobile store in the US and ask a customer service representative for assistance.
- Call 1-888-8metro8 (1-888-863-8768) to activate it manually.
If you’re traveling to Mexico or Canada, you also need to activate roaming on your device with these steps:
- Activating roaming on Android: Open “Settings,” and go to“Mobile Data,” then activate the “Data Roaming” option.
- Activate roaming on iOS: Open “Settings,” then “Cellular Data,” and go to “Data Options” to turn on “Data Roaming.”
