TracFone Freedom plan users get international roaming in Mexico and Canada.
Other TracFone plans only include international calling from the US to Mexico and Canada.
TracFone uses partner networks through Verizon’s international agreements, allowing you to use data, calls, and texts while abroad. Coverage and speeds depend on the local carrier you’re connected to. You can expect connections to Telcel in Mexico or Bell, Rogers, or Telus in Canada.
