When does Revolut eSIM offer refunds?

You can request a refund within 14 days of purchasing your eSIM data plan, and the refund will be proportionate to your unused data. You’re eligible for a refund if you meet the two following conditions during this period:

Your data plan hasn’t already expired.
You have used a maximum of 500MB of data only to test the quality of the services.

In certain situations, you can also claim a partial refund after you’ve used more than 500 MB of data. These can include technical disruptions that prevent 1GLOBAL from providing services, such as network infrastructure issues in your destination country.

You can’t claim a refund for service interruptions that are not Revolut’s fault, such as theft, faulty third-party applications, or damage to your device. You also won’t receive a refund for any unused eSIM data once the plan has already expired.

Can I get a refund if my device is eSIM incompatible?

The Revolut eSIM is only available with the Revolut app on eSIM-compatible devices. However, if your eSIM doesn’t work, such as if your device is carrier-locked, you can still request a refund on any data plan within 14 days of your purchase. We recommend that you make sure your device is unlocked before purchasing a data plan.

You can also fill out a refund request form and send it to Revolut by email.

As the eSIM Data Plans are supplied by 1GLOBAL, processing your refund request can take up to 14 days. Once processed, Revolut will deposit the refund into your Revolut account the instant 1GLOBAL initiates the transaction on their end.
