Maya only offers refunds in two cases. 

Firstly, if your eSIM wasn’t able to be activated on your chosen destination or can’t be installed on your device, you are eligible for a 100% refund without further questions.

The second case is that your eSIM stopped working, but you must note the following when applying for this type of refund:

  • If you’re using a prepaid eSIM plan and consumed over 10% of the data allowance, you aren’t eligible for a refund.
  • If you’re using an unlimited eSIM and consumed over 1 GB, you aren’t eligible for a refund.

These cases occur because Maya will consider your eSIM successfully activated and working on the local network, so keep an eye on your data usage.

If your eSIM is eligible for a refund, Maya offers a straightforward process to request it within 30 days after the payment.

Here’s what you’ll need to do to submit a refund request:

  1. Go to the Help Maya website and press “Submit a request.”

  4. Choose your device type and model. Optionally, include your location and attach any proof that your eSIM is not working or has stopped working.

  5. Lastly, press submit, and your refund request will be reviewed. You should get an answer in less than 24 hours.
