Choose an unlimited data plan for USA. Coverage works well so far. I had issues activating the esim and contacted costumer service over WhatsApp. I was assisted right away and the representative led me through some general troubleshooting which solved the issue.

5,000km driven with music streaming and navigation at all times! We used the Europe plan on 2 devices during almost 30 days. Devices were Google Pixel Pro 6 and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Driving over 5,000km using internet 24/7 through the whole trip to stream music with very few interruptions, mostly on isolated areas or after going through a country border we felt it was always good to disable and re-enable the data plan for a swift experience. We drove from Paris-Dijon-Lyon-Turin-Lugano-Milan-Genoa-Monaco-Nice-Marseille-Montpellier-Barcelona-Valencia-Madrid-Caceres-Coimbra-Porto-Aveiro-Lisbon, spanning France, Italy, Switzerland, Monaco, Spain and Portugal and the data plan was enough to use internet at all times, no hiccups. GPS for navigation and planning. Browsing and Social Media use. Photo editing online and photo and video uploads. Music streaming and messaging all day long. Would certainly use this service again!.

I am a happy user of holafly. Because these days the internet is a must. I purchased a 1 month global package for myself which is more expensive but It’s reasonable for me coz we have a few countries in Asia to visit before our final destination. I purchased Europe package X2 for 20 days for my son and daughter coz they like to play games. It’s very helpful coz I’m not worried I cannot contact my minor children if ever they get lost during our travel. Every time I can update my husband on where we are. Do I have to activate data roaming on my device?

Yes. To ensure that your eSIM gets the best coverage, you must turn on data roaming on your cellphone’s settings. This will not incur any additional charges, as long as you have already set up the Holafly eSIM.

What is the speed that I will have with the Holafly eSIM?

With your Holafly eSIM you can connect at 4G, LTE and 5G speeds like any local data line. However, keep in mind that in remote or poor coverage areas, your mobile could connect at lower speeds.

Can I keep my WhatsApp number?

Yes, you will keep your WhatsApp number with all your conversations and contacts. You can use it just like normal.

When will I receive my eSIM?

Can I call and send SMS with my Holafly eSIM?…

Unfortunately, it is not possible to make calls, send SMS, or receive SMS. However, with the eSIM mobile data, you can continue using instant messaging applications such as WhatsApp or iMessage.

How can I get a refund?

At Holafly we are aware that our users may have unforeseen events after making the purchase. Therefore, you can request a refund in the following circumstances:

– You bought the eSIM without checking the compatibility with your cellphone.
– You canceled your trip or you no longer need the eSIM.
– Our eSIMs generally work fine, but if you experience connection issues, we can provide you with a full or partial refund.

Once the refund is approved, you will receive the money on to the same account with which you made the payment. This process can take between 5 to 10 business days.

Can I use my SIM card and Holafly eSIM at the same time?

If you are using an Apple device, you can use your SIM card and your eSIM at the same time. Choose the SIM card for phone calls and SMS, and the Holafly eSIM for cellular data. Please remember that if you leave your SIM card activated, your network provider may apply data roaming charges to receive or make phone calls as well as SMS.

How can I delete the Holafly eSIM once I’ve used my data?

There is no need to delete the eSIM once you have finished using it. However, if you wanted to, you can do this by going to your phone’s SIM card manager.

How many times can I use my eSIM card?

If needed or when changing phones during your trip, you can transfer your eSIM. However, note that you can only transfer the eSIM to two devices—the original one and a new one. Once you’ve installed it on a different device than the original, you won’t be able to reinstall it on the original device and you must deliver the eSIM from the original device to install it in the second device.

How can I check how much data I have left?

To check the data balance you have left, log in to our Holafly Center with the credentials we sent you by email when you made the purchase. You can also check your data balance from the data settings on your device.

When should I set up my eSIM?

You need WiFi to set up your eSIM so we recommend that you install and activate your eSIM just before your departure. You can also wait until you arrive at your destination to activate the eSIM but remember that you need a prior WiFi connection for the set-up process.

How do I set up the eSIM on my device?

After your purchase, we will send a QR code to your email. Either print the QR code or open it on your computer. On your cell phone, go to Settings > Mobile/Cellular Data > Add Data Plan and scan the QR code. Your phone will allow you to set up a specific name to this data plan. You will now be able to switch between your Holafly data plan and the original plan from your provider. The Holafly data plan will only work once you arrive at your destination. Once you land, turn on data roaming on your cellphone settings and activate the Holafly data plan. Check the phone’s user manual for more details on adding a data plan. All eSIM products come with comprehensive set-up instructions.

Can I share data with other devices?

Sharing data is only enabled for specific eSIMs. For example, most Unlimited Data eSIM have the sharing data option with other devices. Please check the product page info to clarify whether the eSIM qualifies or not tethering.
