How to Install and Activate Your Holafly Monthly Plan?
Activating your Holafly global monthly plan is fast, simple, and only takes a few minutes.
Once you purchase the plan, you’ll receive a QR code via email along with step-by-step instructions. While the process is similar across devices, they may vary slightly depending on whether you’re using iOS, Android, or Windows.
On iOS Devices (iPhone)
You don’t need any technical experience—just a few minutes and a Wi-Fi connection.
Before you begin, please ensure your device supports eSIM technology. Note: eSIM is supported on iPhone XS or later.
Steps:
- Scan the QR Code Connect to Wi-Fi. Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Add eSIM, tap Use QR Code, and scan the one sent via email.
- Install the eSIM After scanning, a message will prompt you to confirm the installation of the Holafly plan. Confirm. Assign the eSIM as your ‘Primary’ or ‘Secondary’ data line.
- Activate Your Plan Go to Settings > Mobile Data, select the Holafly plan, and enable Use this line for mobile data, and turn on Data Roaming.
Once active, your iPhone will automatically connect to the best available network in every supported country.
On Android Devices
Installation is just as simple on Android, though steps can vary by brand/model. Make sure your device supports eSIM and is connected to the internet.
Steps:
- Open SIM Settings Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager (or Mobile Networks / SIM & Network, depending on your device).
- Add the eSIM Select Add eSIM or Add Mobile Plan. Choose Scan QR Code and follow the on screen instructions.
- Activate your Plan Go to Settings > Mobile Networks, select Holafly as your primary data network, and enable Data Roaming.
Once active, your phone will automatically connect to the best available network in every supported country.
On Windows Laptops
Many modern Windows laptops now support eSIM. You can check this in your device’s network settings or technical specs.
Steps:
- Open Network Settings Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Cellular.
- Install the eSIM Profile Click Manage eSIM profiles > Add a mobile plan, then Scan QR Code or manually enter the SM-DP+ address provided in your email.
- Activate Your Plan Select the eSIM as your preferred network, enable Mobile Data and Roaming, and ensure Use this line for data is turned on and your OS is up to date.

- If QR Code scanning fails, enter the SM-DP+ address manually (found in your confirmation email).
