To install with the first option, it is essential that the QR code is printed or on another device. Otherwise, you can follow the manual installation instructions for your Holafly eSIM.

If your device is iOS, you must enter Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM on your device and scan the QR code or paste the manual installation codes sent to your email. You must then follow the on-screen instructions to select your new eSIM for mobile data and calls.

If your device is Android, follow the instructions we will email you to install your Holafly eSIM.

Remember that your Holafly data plan should only be activated when you arrive at your destination. Once there, make sure to select your Holafly eSIM as your preferred option to make calls, then activate data roaming and also the Holafly calling plan.

The Holafly eSIM offers maximum speed coverage (4GLTE5G). But bear in mind that in some areas of limited coverage there may be a lower speed connection.

Your eSIM can only be activated on one device. If you delete the eSIM from your device, you will not be able to reuse it. You cannot scan the QR code on two devices.

Yes, to get the best coverage with your Holafly eSIM, you must activate data roaming in your device settings. Don’t worry; this will not generate additional charges from your operator if you have successfully configured your Holafly eSIM.

Also, make sure that your Holafly line is selected as your default voice line so that you can make calls without any problems. You can set this up in your phone’s voice or call settings.

Sure! You can keep your physical SIM card with your Holafly eSIM simultaneously on your device. Just make sure you choose your eSIM as your default voice line and preferred option for mobile data in your device settings.

Please note that if you leave your physical SIM card activated, you might get extra roaming fees from your network provider.

If you use up all the minutes before your eSIM expires, you can continue using the remaining data until its expiration date. However, please note that once the days of your eSIM plan have expired, the remaining (unused) data and minutes will be lost, and the eSIM will stop working.

To avoid interruptions in your service, we recommend that you keep track of your eSIM usage or extend its validity (top-up) before your current eSIM expires.

The eSIM is a digital product. Holafly cannot check if you have used the data plan associated with the eSIM card. Therefore, once your eSIM is delivered, we cannot offer a refund. Please see our eSIM Refund Policy for more information.

The Germany eSIM uses Vodafone GmbH/Telefonica Germany GmbH/Telekom Deutschland GmbH, one of the best eSIM providers in the country.

This eSIM includes unlimited data for the contracted time. However, please note that the operator may reserve the right to apply a Fair Usage Policy, as it applies to all other network users. In particular, if the operator estimates the usage of more than 90GB of data in a month, it may temporarily reduce the speed to between 256-1024KB to avoid affecting other users. This limitation is intended to prevent network saturation and will be removed within 24 hours. The Germany eSIM allows you to use mobile data and make calls. It includes an Austrian (+43) phone number to make calls for up to 60 mins and receive calls for up to 60 mins. Also, you can still make calls and send messages using apps like WhatsApp with your data.

You will be able to receive calls from anywhere in the world, but only call to countries with coverage. Please make sure to check the technical specs.

As you will be assigned an Austrian number (+43) in the case of making or receiving calls locally within Austria, it is not necessary to dial the prefix. However, if you are calling from another of the countries allowed to make calls, you will need to dial the country code of the European country you are calling. You will be able to make calls only to countries with coverage. Please check our technical specs.

You can receive calls from any country. However, it’s important to note that when communicating with individuals outside the area of your assigned number (+43 Austria), it may be considered an international call, and charges may apply based on that person’s service provider.

With your Holafly Germany eSIM, you have 60 minutes to make calls and 60 minutes to receive them. Remember that these are independent; in other words, you have a total of 120 minutes to enjoy during your trip.
