How to check if your Holafly eSIM has unlimited data?
Most Holafly eSIMs offer unlimited data, but it’s always a good idea to check your plan details before purchasing. On the destination page, you can find essential information about your eSIM, including whether it offers unlimited data, coverage, and more. To review the features of your eSIM:
- Go to Holafly website → Type your destination into the search bar labeled “Where are you traveling?” → You can choose how many days you’ll need, or just skip this step for now → Then, tap the Search Plan button → Once you’re on the eSIM destination page, scroll down until you see “Advantages of using Holafly eSIM in (your destination)” → Scroll a bit further until you see the advantage cards → Swipe left until you find the one labeled “Unlimited data plans”.
How to purchase the eSIM through the Holafly website?
Buying your Holafly eSIM is a quick and simple process. With just a few clicks, you can get connected for your travels. Before purchasing, make sure your device is compatible and unlocked to ensure a smooth installation:
- To buy an eSIM, go to Holafly.com → Type your destination into the search bar labeled “Where are you traveling?” and select it → Scroll down to the bottom.
- Choose the number of days (this indicates how long your plan will last once the eSIM is activated. It does not schedule activation for specific calendar dates, as the eSIM starts working when you activate it at your destination) → Choose the number of eSIMs → Confirm your purchase by selecting Get unlimited internet → Tap on Go to checkout → Choose the payment method → Enter your email and billing address → Continue to payment → Add your card information → Complete your order, and that’s it.
Does Holafly internet speed get throttled?
In some cases, your internet speed may be temporarily reduced by the local network operator. This is not a restriction applied by Holafly. Some operators have a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) that may reduce speeds after you reach a certain high-speed data limit, particularly during periods of high network traffic.
If this applies to your plan, the speed reduction will last for no more than one day. Your original speed will be restored the following day.

- Unlimited data means there is no fixed limit on the amount of data you can use. However, some network operators may temporarily reduce your speed after a certain amount of high-speed data usage, as explained above.
- While some destinations offer unlimited data, the hotspot feature is not unlimited to preserve network integrity. We recommend checking the available GB for hotspot use in the Technical Specs section for your destination.
