How much a TELUS postpaid plan really costs

TELUS postpaid plans cost CA$30 to CA$100 per month for one line, before taxes and additional charges. Adding eligible lines reduces the price of data plans through the TELUS Family Discount, while Voice remains CA$30 per month.

Number of linesMonthly cost per line (CAD)
1 line$30-100
2 lines$30-92.50
3 lines$30-90
4 lines$30-85

Prices include a CA$10 monthly discount with pre-authorized bank payments.

International roaming can add extra expenses to your monthly bill. Voice, 5G+ Select Family, and 5G+ Select do not include roaming abroad, but you can add Easy Roam for CA$16 per day in the US or CA$18 per day in other covered destinations. These charges apply on days you use the service, on top of your regular monthly bill.

For example, using your plan every day during a seven-day trip to Spain would add CA$126 before taxes.

However, if you know your travel dates, TELUS offers travel passes with fixed prices, including CA$40 for seven days in the US or CA$50 for 14 days in Europe. These use your existing plan’s data allowance alongside included talk and text.

Complete includes US roaming, Unlimited covers the US and Mexico, and Unlimited Explore covers 68 international destinations. Each includes 5 GB of high-speed roaming data daily, then unlimited data at up to 512 Kbps, with calls and texts subject to coverage rules. Outside those destinations, Easy Roam costs CA$5 per day in eligible locations.

Your destination, trip length, and monthly plan determine your TELUS international roaming options. The following guides explain coverage, daily rates, and travel passes for each destination:
