How much a Bell postpaid plan really costs

Bell postpaid plans cost CA$70-100/month with Autopay when you bring your own phone, before taxes and fees. Adding eligible lines reduces the average monthly price of Bell’s Select 100 GB and Ultra plans, while Select 60 GB stays at CA$70/month per line.

Number of linesMonthly cost per line (CAD)
1 line$70-100
2 lines$70-92.50
3 lines$70-86.67
4 lines$70-81.25

The ranges show Select 60 GB’s fixed CA$70 per-line price and Ultra international’s average price. Select 100 GB and both Ultra plans offer additional-line discounts.

Roaming costs can also add to your bill. Select 60 GB does not include roaming, while Select 100 GB includes roaming in the US and Ultra with US/Mexico roaming covers both countries. Outside your plan’s included destinations, Roam Better costs CA$13/day in the US or CA$16/day internationally, where available.

For example, seven days of Roam Better use in Japan costs CA$112 before taxes, on top of your monthly plan. You’re only charged on days you use roaming, and Bell caps this at 20 days per billing period. After that, roaming is free until your next billing period.

If you know your travel dates, Bell also offers Travel Passes for 3, 7, 14, or 30 days, depending on the destination. For example, a 14-day Asia pass costs CA$75 before taxes.

Ultra with international roaming includes roaming in 83 destinations. Your destination, trip length, and included coverage determine how much Bell international roaming adds to your monthly bill.
