During a trip to Thailand, Pedro and Lidia, the founders of Holafly, faced the frustration of having no internet connection abroad. Inspired by their struggle, they came up with a simple yet brilliant idea: letting travelers buy data plans for any destination!

2017 Where it all began Born in 2017 from our own travel struggles, we saw how crucial connectivity is on the go. That’s why we made it our mission to deliver seamless solutions for travelers worldwide.

2018 Revolutionizing the industry We had the opportunity to join the Lanzadera Acceleration Programme. This gave us the boost we needed to make our project a success. In the summer of 2018, we launched our eSIM technology. We revolutionised the way people stay connected when they travel.

2019 - 2021 Building a global team We ventured into France and Germany and opened offices in Valencia and Medellin. This expansion has strengthened our international presence and our ability to provide exceptional customer service in every country.

2022 Commitment to sustainability We care about the environment. So much so, that by 2022 we are embarking on a path to carbon neutrality. By focusing on our eSIM technology, we are moving away from physical SIM cards and avoiding waste generation.

2022 - Current Unleashing the magic We took flight to Lima and Bangkok, opening new offices and expanding our global reach. We also launched our apps for iOS and Android. Travelers can now manage their eSIM more easily – we can’t wait to see what the future holds!
