Roamic eSIM pricing and plans

Roamic eSIM’s plans and prices vary slightly by destination and data plan type.

Limited data plans

Each destination includes limited data plans, with allowances from 1 GB to 50 GB and fixed plan durations (7 to 30 days).

However, certain destinations, such as France and Nigeria, only offer data allowances of 1 GB to 20 GB. The Roamic regional eSIM plans for South America and Africa only include 1-10 GB of data.

Prices also vary slightly from country to country. For example:

  • 20 GB for 30 days in Europe costs £13 GBP
  • 20 GB for 30 days in France costs £11
  • 20 GB for 30 days in the United States costs £12
  • 20 GB for 30 days in Morocco costs £22
  • 20 GB for 30 days in Turkey costs £10
  • 5 GB for 21 days in Africa costs £28
  • 5G for 21 days in South America costs £30

Unlimited data plans

Unlimited data plans do not include a fixed duration. You can select the number of days along with the number of eSIMs. However, you can only select up to 30 days for every destination.

While the price gets lower the more days you add to your plan, there is a high-speed data cap after consuming only 3 GB per day. If you use data-heavy apps frequently, such as Instagram, Snapchat, or YouTube, you might be hit with data throttling early on in the day.

Certain Roamic regional eSIM plans, such as those for Africa and South America, do not include unlimited data.

Roamic eSIM network coverage and quality

According to the official website, Roamic eSIMs cover over 190 destinations worldwide. Their “eSIM details” include 4G/LTE and 5G speeds and hotspot (with no mention of any specific allowance).

Roamic’s Fair Usage Policy applies to the unlimited data plans. You’ll be allowed 3 GB of high-speed data per 24 hours. Once this limit is reached, the connection speed will reduce to 1 Mbps for the remainder of the day. The high-speed data allocation will reset automatically.

As with all SIM/eSIM carriers, high-speed data usage also depends on the region. For example, you may experience low data speeds in rural regions that can’t be controlled.

Roamic eSIM customer service and support

Roaminc claims to offer 24/7 customer support and is available via live chat, email, and phone. You can also contact Roamic’s support team on WhatsApp.

Roamic eSIM refund policy

Roamic processes refunds under certain conditions.

  1. Refund for service withdrawal: If you have not used your purchased Roamic eSIM in 6 months, you are eligible for a full refund in the first 180 days. Your eSIM must not be activated or used.
  1. Refund for incompatible/locked device: If you don’t have an eSIM-compatible phone and purchased a Roamic eSIM no more than 6 months ago, you’re eligible for a full refund. The eSIM must not be installed or used in any way.
  1. Refund for connection issues: You may be eligible for a full or partial refund if your eSIM doesn’t work due to an issue with Roamic or the destination’s network infrastructure. However, you must contact Roamic’s support team during your trip to ensure a refund.

To request a refund, you’ll have to reach out to Roamic’s customer support team.

What to know before choosing Roamic eSIM

Before deciding to go with a Roamic eSIM, review these key factors verified from their official policies and website:

  • Unlocked device: Like with any eSIM provider, Roamic eSIMs will only function on unlocked devices that support eSIM technology.
  • Order processing: eSIM profiles and installation instructions are delivered via email after checkout.

Can you use Roamic eSIM for calls and texts?
