Flights and hotel deals worth booking early
Airlines and hotel booking apps are major players during Black Friday and Travel Tuesday. This year, expect to find the following awesome deals on flights and accommodation:
Flights: Limited Flash Sales
Many airlines release limited-time flash sales around Black Friday. Some drop their fares days before the official weekend, while others roll out discounts only on the day itself.
For example, in 2025, Qatar Airways offered up to 30% off flights from the US, and American Airlines ran a Cyber Week sale on one-way domestic flights for less than $100.
Pro tip: Set price alerts on platforms like Google Flights, Skyscanner, or Hopper a week before Black Friday to track the price drops in real time.
Hotels: Bundled Perks and Membership Deals
Many hotel chains and booking platforms offer exclusive perks on Black Friday, such as free breakfasts, resort credits, or room upgrades.
Platforms like Expedia and Booking.com also offer deals on travel bundles, giving you extra savings when you book your flights and accommodation as a package.
💡 Pro tip: Deals can start a few days before Black Friday, so start monitoring sites on Wednesday. Early booking can secure the most competitive rates before rooms sell out.

How to find authentic travel deals (and avoid fake discounts)
When shopping for Black Friday travel deals 2026, avoid fake discounts with the following quick tips:
- Check deals against historical averages: Use tools like CamelCamelCamel, Google Shopping, or Hopper to check recent pricing and determine whether the deal is real.
- Watch for inflated “pre-sale” prices: Some retailers raise prices before Black Friday, then “discount” them back to normal levels.
- Avoid urgency traps: Countdown timers and “only 2 seats left” alerts are often marketing tricks.
- Buy from verified sources: For flights and accommodation, stick to trusted platforms like Expedia, Skyscanner, or official airline and hotel websites.
- Compare before you buy: Do a quick price check across two or three sites to ensure you’re getting the best deal possible.
