However, calling outside the Europe Zone isn’t included. On Monthly Plans, pricing is £4.10/minute; on Pay-As-You-Go plans, it is £1.99/minute.
Also, as part of O2 T&Cs, if you go over 25 GB a month, you’ll need to buy a Data Bolt On to use roaming in Spain. Pricing ranges from £5.50 for 100 MB to £32.50 for 12 GB.
How to activate O2’s Spain roaming
To use O2 in Spain, you simply need to turn on the “Roaming” option on your device, following these steps:
- Activate roaming on iOS: Go to “Settings”, then to “Cellular Data”, and open “Data Options” to turn on “Data Roaming”.
- Activate roaming on Android: Open “Settings”, then “Mobile Data”, and turn on “Data Roaming”.
