Your eSIM plan activates immediately upon purchase. This means that as soon as you complete your payment, your plan is ready for use. It remains valid for 30 days from the purchase date and renews automatically each month for another 30-day cycle. If you are purchasing your plan in advance, please note that the activation will begin immediately—not on a future date. If you do not intend to use your plan right away, consider purchasing it closer to your intended start date.

The Plans eSIM allows you to use mobile data and it includes European phone number that enables you to receive SMS. It does not include a local phone number for calling.
You can still make calls using apps like WhatsApp, eliminating the need for a local SIM card.

If you change your phone during your trip around the world, you can transfer your eSIM. However, please note that you can only transfer the eSIM to one device: from the original one to a new one. Once you have installed it on a device other than the original one, you will not be able to reinstall it on the original device. To perform the eSIM transfer, you must remove it from the first device. Remember that formatting or restoring your mobile phone will not delete your eSIM. You must delete it manually.

Once you purchase your eSIM for worldwide travel, you will receive a confirmation email with the guide to install it immediately using a QR or manual code. Remember that once purchased, the eSIM cannot be returned.

Yes! you don't need to configure anything. If you don't activate a new number on WhatsApp, you'll always keep the old one.

You can manage your eSIMs and access all your data plans by logging into your Holafly Center via the Holafly website.

You can see your European phone number after you instal your Holafly eSIM.
For iOS, simply go to your phone settings > Mobile Service (Cellular) > SIMs. Here you should see your added SIMs/eSIMs. Under Holafly eSIM, you should see a local phone number starting with +43.
For Android, navigate to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager. Here you should see your added SIMs/eSIMs. Under Holafly eSIM, you should see a local phone number starting with +43.
