We’ll also explore other eSIM providers like Holafly’s unlimited eSIM, a seamless option for staying connected locally and abroad.

Unlike Heya, which only ever supported physical SIM cards, Singtel hi! is built on eSIM: every plan on its official page is sold as an eSIM, managed through the Singtel hi! app,

Singtel hi!’s eSIMs work with eSIM-capable devices, including iOS, Android, and Google eSIM phones.

How to buy a Singtel hi! eSIM?
To sign up for Singtel hi!, you need to:
- Be 16 years or older
- Have a Singpass account, or one of these ID documents: Singapore NRIC/11B, Employment Pass, S Pass, Work Permit, Dependent Pass, Student Pass, or Social Visit Pass
- Download the Singtel hi! app (available on the App Store and Google Play)
From there, choose a plan on the Singtel hi! site or in the app and select “Buy eSIM now.”
If you’re bringing your existing number, it must be an active non-Singtel postpaid line registered under your NRIC/FIN with no outstanding payments, and you’ll need to submit your port-out request to your current telco at least 7 days before your next billing cycle.
If you were on Heya, you didn’t need to do anything: the migration to Singtel hi! was automatic, your plan benefits carried over, and you kept your existing physical SIM. The Heya app has been retired — your account now lives in the Singtel hi! app.
